Packaging That Balances Freshness and Sustainability
When Lucid Mood approached Enviro Flex Pack, they were seeking packaging that would keep their gummies fresh and protected while aligning with their commitment to sustainability. Initially, they were interested in compostable pouches, which matched their eco-friendly ethos. However, after exploring different options together, they recognized that recyclable materials offered better durability and freshness protection without compromising their environmental values.
Compostable vs. Recyclable: Finding the Perfect Fit
Lucid Mood aimed to fit about 20 to 30 gummies in each pouch and preferred a window so customers could see the product inside. To assist them in finding the perfect fit, we provided samples of both 4 and 8-ounce pouches for testing. After evaluating the options, the 4-ounce pouch proved to be the ideal choice for their product.
We also collaborated closely with their graphic design team, supplying a custom pouch template and guidance on layout. This support made it easier for them to incorporate their branding, flavor names, nutrition facts, and product information in a clean and professional manner.
Starting with a low print run of 3,000 pouches allowed Lucid Mood to remain flexible as they expanded their product line. As they continue to grow, we are ready to support larger production runs and more customized packaging solutions.
