Everleaf Tea’s Switch to Compostable Stand-Up Pouches
Everleaf Tea is a young brand with a thoughtful approach to tea. Focused on sustainability and quality, they set out to offer loose leaf blends that feel as good to brew as they do to support. Each blend is crafted with care, drawing from nature’s own palette of herbs, florals, and leaves.
When the Everleaf team reached out, they were in the early stages of bringing five loose leaf teas to market. They knew they wanted compostable packaging but were still exploring the right format. We sent over a range of stand-up pouch samples for them to review. After testing each one, it became clear that a custom 2 oz size would be the best fit for their blends, offering the right balance between shelf presence and portioning.
Initially, they considered brown kraft for its natural look. But after we reviewed their design together, we recommended using white material to give the artwork room to shine. The illustrated botanicals and soft color palette looked brighter and more defined against the white background, helping the packaging feel more refined while still grounded in nature.
We supplied fully compostable stand-up pouches with resealable zippers to preserve freshness and make daily use easy for customers. From tailoring the pouch dimensions to adjusting layout details, we collaborated closely with the Everleaf team to make sure the packaging felt just right.
